J Adams and Associates Design Consultants
 Jim Adams started as most businesses do; with his family. Mr. Adams actually comes from a long line of entrepreneurs, dating back to his grandfather and uncles who once owned Ozarka Water Company in Texas. In fact, most of his family work for themselves to this day. Mr Adams knows the time and dedication it takes to successfully operate a multi faceted business.
The Early Years to Present
As a young adult, Jim was an employee for flooring, painting, remodeling, and security companies while attending Texas Tech University. From construction, journeyman electrician, and 16 years of paint contracting, to helping with the family cleaning business- the term 'wide range of experience' certainly applies. In the early 90's, Mr. Adams purchased his first home, then remodeled, redecorated, and resold. Completing numerous re-models during his tenure as a paint contractor in Amarillo and San Antonio, Texas, Jim, like many in “mid-life” moved toward re-education and ultimately became an ASID allied member. Billing himself as a design consultant; Jim offers his clients multiple areas of expertise.
- Our Latest Design Project at Artisan Park at Victoria Commons
 Our latest Project involved helping Carleton Residential Properties in the interior specifications for Artisan Park at Victoria Commons in San Antonio, Texas; a multi-family residential real estate property. In this project we created three separate color schemes and developed multiple combinations of flooring, plumbing, appliance, electrical fixture, hardware, and color combinations. Our intent is to offer the buyer a truly semi-custom optioned home.
